In 2015, 94-year-old Oskar Groning, the Accountant of Auschwitz, went on trial for the murder of 300,000 people. . .  in 1944. The case made headlines around the world, as a frail old man took the stand to finally face justice for crimes committed long ago.

Survivors and Nazi hunters alike are torn over whether he should be prosecuted at all. Is he an accomplice to the worst mass murder in history? Is his prosecution simply the outcome of a change in law and a societal need to avenge the horrors of the Holocaust? Or is it simply revenge against a frail man who has lived long enough for the legal system to catch up with him?
